Member the…
Good Morning all, I would like to identify the font that the Hal Leonard Corporation use for John Williams Musical Scores. I am particularly interested in the font that is used for the (1) titles, subtitles, (2) composer name, (3) measure box marking, and (4) song title (above the tempo marking). I cannot provide links, because that would be copyright infringement. Thank you for your help! Link to comment
Solution Member Abr… Posted June 9, 2017 Solution Share Posted June 9, 2017 Looks like Palatino for 1 and 2. Not sure about 3 and 4. 2 Link to comment
Ralf Herrmann
The others texts are too small to identify the font properly. But I wouldn’t be surprised if its something basic such as Times New Roman. 2 Link to comment

Other common default text fonts are Plantin, Helvetica, and Century Schoolbook. 1 Link to comment
Member Car…
What about the font used in the cover pages for the same John Williams Signature Editions? Thought it was Century Gothic but the "c"'s don't seem to match up... Link to comment
Member Ric…
It looks like some (horizontally stretched?) version of Futura. Next time, please open a new thread. Link to comment
