Trying to identify MCDONNELL DOUGLAS corporate typeface

This was a McDonnell Douglas corporate typeface used in the 1970s.it also was used as model badging on aircraft such as the DC-10.

I think its a variant of the Univers family, maybe a modified version.

Im looking for it for use in a personal painting Im making with an aviation theme. McDonnell-Douglas-Logo.png

Most likely custom, not a readily available typeface. Rather than Univers, it seems to be inspired by the American wide Gothics.

There is a low quality outlined reproduction of the typeface, and a similar crude version called Espionage (linked to Metal Gear Solid for some reason).

My advice would be to further expand and skew something of a better quality like OL Franklin.

Thank you Ricardo... I always assumed it was custom due to it being such a high profile company in a glamorous industry.
