Create document with all characters in all installed fonts?

I am new to this amazing site!

But I am not new to computers and word processing - I started with WordPerfect 5.0 for DOS on floppy discs, that’s how old I am. 

And at some point I had a method, perhaps a macro, of creating a document which consisted of all the characters available in every font on the computer I was then using. I have recently upgraded my Mac to Catalina with all its new fonts, and I would like to create that document again.

Can anyone tell me how?

1. Open the FontBook app in the Applications folder
2. Select all fonts*
3. Press CMD + P or choose “print” from the file menu
4. if you don’t see the Report Type menu, choose Show Details
5. Select Repertoire in the Report Type menu
6. Pick a glyph size
7. Print as PDF or via printer

*) Depending on your Mac and the number of fonts installed it can be quite resource-intensive to select and print all fonts at once. If that is the case, you might want to only chose smaller sections of your font catalog.
