Font used for "Titanic" Logo and Trailers (1997)

Trying to hunt down a cold case, the metallic-style font used in the logotype for Titanic. (This is not Trajan, which is the other commonly used font.)

This "font" is also used in the theatrical trailers for the 1997 release.

What's notable about this is it has tiny serifs on certain letters - "T", "A", I", "C", "R", which you can see in some of the examples below.

(Interestingly, the "O" in this example appears asymmetrical. The first "O" in 'Leonardo' appears to have the left side slightly thicker than the right, while the last "O" in both 'Leonardo' and 'DiCaprio' look to be the reverse.)

It's also worth including this early concept trailer, which has some of the serifs, but the quality is too poor to tell if it's the same thing. Looks a little different though.

I suspect that, if it's not a font, then something like Compacta was used as a base, but some differences have me second guessing (the serifs, thinner/rounder letter shapes, the unique "1" and "9", etc).
