Member ten…
Hello, I have recently purchased The Kinfolk Garden book and I am curious to find out which fonts they are using for the inside. I've tried different identification resources but without success. On previous books in the same series (i.e. The Kinfolk Table) they had Adobe Caslon throughout. This book however seems to take a different route. I think it's two serif fonts in use, one for the bigger text and one for the main body copy, as I can see differences in the 'a, g, e, etc.'. But I might be wrong. Can anyone help? I hope the images attached are good enough. Thanks. Link to comment
Solution Member Ric… Posted December 17, 2020 Solution Share Posted December 17, 2020 The bigger text appears to be Galliard. 2 Link to comment
Member Kev…
Seems to be Galliard for the text, as well. 1 1 Link to comment
Member ten…
I agree on Galliard for the bigger text, but on a closer inspection, the smaller copy seems to be set in Feijoa (medium?) by Klim Type I have attached an example with Galliard Pro Roman on 1st line, scan from the book on 2nd line and Feijoa Medium on 3rd line. Thanks for your help @Riccardo Sartori and @Kevin Thompson 2 Link to comment
