monkbat Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 I'm trying to find fonts that have a similar style 'B' as the one that appears in this casino chip mold strike: It dates back to c1930s and was manufactured in the USA. Website: http://www.antiquegamblingchips.com/molddesign_letters.htm I've been browsing fonts.com serif fonts and have seen similar but nothing THAT close. I was hoping that someone could steer me in the direction of fonts with comparable Bs. Not too similar fobts I've seen: Jimbo Bold Expanded Modesto Initials Nacho Heavy Ginkgo I've not been able to locate anything that has similar rounded serifs. Any tips very welcome! :)
Riccardo Sartori Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 That kind of elliptical overall shape is typical of monograms (example), rather than text typefaces. It can also be found in some Lombardic/medieval inspired fonts (example), but in both cases they often tend to be more decorated.

Thanks for the tip. Will post new findings here, if I uncover anything (y)
