Looking to identify the font used on this nameplate. I've been told its bauhaus but it doesn't quite match. Closest I've found is Monoglyceride which also isn't an exact match

Keep in mind that the process of routing letters into brass will modify their shapes in terms of thickness of the strokes and rounding of the corners. Also many typefaces in this genre had alternate letters that may not have survived digitisation, but are still available in plaque makers' catalogues.

All that said, the closest I could find is Expressa.
