JimmyDudz Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Hello All, Long story but I thought I'd make my 9 year old some 'screen use' licences (to limit Nintendo time) - half hour slots signed off by The Ministry of Mum & Dad. I thought it would be fun to make them look like official WW2 docs. I started looking at Ration Books. It's pretty obvious the Ministry of Food adult ones from the 40s use Gill (unsurprisingly), But I came across these children's ones which have this really interesting sans for the title with the end strokes of the R and K flicked to end parallel to the baseline. If you Google 'Children's Ration Book' you'll find quite a few examples. Any idea what it is, anyone?! Thanks in advance.
Ralf Herrmann Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Are we sure this is typeset? Where there maybe other uses of the same design?
