Don M. Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 I have tried every online OCR resource font identifying tool. With no luck. I am trying to identify the vintage typewriter font used on this school worksheet. It's probably more than one font since there is Superscript capital letters and 'single story' "a" on some sentences. Any help is appreciated. Attached photo.
Solution MissNobody Posted March 15, 2023 Solution Posted March 15, 2023 Looks like Orator 15 (pitch). 1
Don M. Posted March 15, 2023 Author Posted March 15, 2023 Brilliant. That is exactly it. I was able to import the font into Word and type the doc exactly. Do you know how they achieved the Heading type? With the Large capital letter and then the smaller capital letters? Maybe a setting on the Selectric Typewriter? I don't see where the Orator 15 font has that feature? Thanks.
MissNobody Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Most likely they just used subscript for capital letters (in Word by pressing Ctrl =).
Riccardo Sartori Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Orator originally had only small caps. 1
