Need to identify a font used in a company logo

this should be an easy one. I know this font but I just cannot seem to find it.

Could you please tell me what it is? Thank you.

Thanks, that was it. I got confused by the italic version. I don't see how that information would be relevant for determining the font. You most certainly don't know the company and I have no idea when the logo was created.
