Geometric Sans designed by females?

Recommended Posts

danito

Hey Everone, I'm looking for a Geometric or possibly Neo-Grotesque sans family designed by a female, or with a female as the principal designer. I've dug around for a good number of hours now, and most of what I could find features female contributers, but not nessecarily designers or principal designers. For Example TypeType seems to have a good number of female designers, and a good selection of sans families which fit the bill, but I can't really find any info on what the roles were, beyond the credits on MyFonts.

This is what I have so far:

ITF Equitan Sans - Diana Ovesea
ITF Volta - Namrata Goyal
ParaType Stem - Alexandra Korolkov
ParaType Circe - Alexandra Korolkova

Contrast Foundry CoFo Sans - a bit limited due to only 4 styles.

Any leads or tips Much appreciated!

Thanks Riccardo!
I think I had mentally omitted Montserrat due to it's ubiquity. Great with a the heads up on Transport, I was unaware that had been updated, and could definitely be an option now. Also thanks for The Alphabettes link, I had already gone through all the lists you linked to there, and only found what I listed in the OP, however I have reached out to them, and digging through their site a little more I came across Excon by Alisa Nowak.

Well, Arial is listed as co-designed by Patricia Saunders... 😉
