  1. I thought this would be a good topic, as the font market is saturated with handwritten/calligraphy fonts that are associated with women's fashion and wedding invitations. As an example I would use Oriole Bird (which itself is tagged 'feminine headline'): Oriole Bird Font But what fonts would you use for a 'masculine' version?
  2. “A contemporary font family designed to represent Wales to the world [...]. Whilst the bespoke typefaces take cues from the Welsh typographical heritage, special care was taken not to wander into the territory of pastiche or parody. All three commissions were developed in close collaboration with the Colophon Foundry with additional consultancy from Joseph Burrin.”
  3. Hi, I'm going to use Acherus Militant 1 ExtraBold for my logo, now I'm finding a suitable font for the tagline below my logo font. Can you recommend which font is good at pairing with Acherus Militant 1 ExtraBold? Thank you a lot.
  4. Hello everyone, I have been designing a custom typeface that I intend to use for a branding. The typeface would be used only internally and would not be sold or distributed in any way. The goal is to have letters (that are not too obvious) from solid filled basic geometric shapes like circles, triangles, rectangles etc. I only need capital letters but then I thought numbers might come handy. Overall I am happy with the look of the letters but the numbers can be improved as some look out of place. Some feedback would be really appreciated. I have attached Illustrator screen grab. I intend to import the letters in Glyphs and tweak them there. This is my first attempt to create type in some form... In the past, I have created custom letters for branding but never full alphabet. P.S. I am not sure why I am not allowed to create posts in the type design forum even though I am a member. Therefore I will post here and the admins can move it in the right section.
  5. Hello All, First post here! I am creating a new brand for a household product, and I'm in the beginning stages of branding. I would love some suggestions for font usage. As mentioned, the product will be a household product, and the thoughts/feelings I would like to convey are: clean fresh modern convenient compact discreet citrus (scent) pure simple sanitary Without giving away too much info, the brand name is 2 words, first with 2 letters, second with 4. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks all!
