The LetterpressAmsterdam workshop produces bespoke letterpress printing, using handset metal type or photopolymer plates. It combines traditional techniques with digital or offset printing to obtain the best results. The workshop can print stationary – business cards, letterheads and envelopes – posters, invitations, wedding and birth announcements. And for those who would like to do it themselves, LetterpressAmsterdam offers letterpress courses as well. During the beginners course you learn the basic skills: typesetting with metal and woodtype, preparing a forme and printing on our presses. Advanced printing and photopolymer courses as well as consultancy and advice services are also available.
