    There was a large leap connecting an obscure US historical event to the contemporary international design scene with no in between links.


    This phrase struck me has having more holes in it than  a piece of Swiss cheese
    'The incident altered the trajectory of the type and publishing industries in the United States and complicated the relationship between them'
