Text serif from book about Gwendolyn Brooks.

Featured Replies

This text serif comes from "Revise the Psalm," a recently published book of essays about poet Gwendolyn Brooks (1917-2000). Absolutely gorgeous in print. Thanks to anyone who can name it for me.

I see the similarities to Cambria, but the sample font is less angular. Most notably, its periods are round whereas Cambria's are square.

Printing conditions always influence the appearance of a font. In any case, Cambria is also used in their e-zine (and embedded in its PDFs).
