There is an old Filmotype typeface that is pretty similar (if a bit skinnier). It has been digitised by the infamous Castcraft Software as “Candid Ballpoint”. You can perhaps still find it floating around the interwebs, but I can’t recommend using it other than for a small personal project.

Wow, that is a little closer, thanks!  There's some differences but it reads pretty closely.
