Book font, Spirou und Fantasio 13: 1981–1983

Featured Replies

Hi.

I saw this font in the running text of a recent German publication ("Spirou und Fantasio 13: 1981–1983", Carlsen Verlag 2020) and I liked it. So I wanted to find out what it was, but WhatTheFont found nothing close.

I think the italic has more characteristic glyphs, so I attach a scan of the italic cut. Have a look at the drop at the top of the "f" and the open bowl of the "g" …

It could well be a rather new font or from a small foundry. All information is welcome. Thanks a lot in advance!
