Featured Replies

Pull My Daisy is a 1959 American short film directed by Robert Frank and Alfred Leslie, and adapted by Jack Kerouac from the third act of his play.

Please help me find the font they used in the titles.

looking for a digital version. Commercial fonts are fine.

I suspect that the original titles were set using moveable, wooden type—the kind a local print shop would still be using in the late 1950s for printings posters and signs (phototypesetting was still relatively new then, and significantly more expensive).

Headline Gothic is quite similar, but has no lowercase.

Royal Street is also similar (though less of a match for the quotation marks).
