Title font for the PC game "Interstate '76"?

Interstate '76 was published by Activision for Windows PCs in 1997. I'm trying to identify the font used for the title on the box art. I first thought it was just italic Impact, but on closer inspection I'm not sure. It seems like it's in that general style, though I don't know what it's called. If the exact font can't be determined, a "close enough" suggestion is still welcome.
