Looking for the font from this Robert F Kennedy presidential campaign pin from 1968

I found this pin on eBay and am having trouble identifying the font for "RFK". I've gotten a couple close matches but none rally match with the K and the subtle serifs (if those are called serifs) on the bottoms of the R and K. I've vectorized it just to make it a bit clearer and I'll add that too.

Any help is appreciated, I would like to find a perfect match but this may be a modified custom font and I'm out of luck, if so a close match will do. Any version of font is fine, free or commercial.

Thank you!
