This was used on a US album cover from 1981. It may have been custom designed, but I don't think so. Curious to know if anyone has ever seen this being used anywhere else. I've looked for this for a long time and clearly no digital version exists.

It's Prince's 'Controversy'. A 12-inch from the same year features the same font.
