Looking for Typography used in titles for classic "Sherlock Hound" cartoon.

Recommended Posts

Hello there. I'm in search of the fonts used in the title sequence for a very old cartoon called Sherlock Hound, or at least something similar enough that I could alter them to match. This was done circa 1982.

First is the title screen, which uses a fancy serif.

It's hard to tell if 'THE ADVENTURE of' and 'SHERLOCK HOUND' are different fonts or if 'THE ADVENTURE' is just stretched taller. The E in 'ADVENTURE' sure looks kind of different to me.

Second are the end credits, which uses a thin/tall sans-serif.

Finally, it's this more modern san-serif:

It seems similar to Franklin Gothic, but not exactly the same.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.
