Looking for font used at Manny's Music in New York ca. 1935

Hi folks, I'm trying to identify the font used on the sign at the former site of Manny's Music in New York (1935-2009).

The serifs on "4" and "N" (especially) are bizarre and I'm fairly certain this font was never digitized. All the same, I'm trying to find it and not having a lot of luck in my own American type specimen collection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I doubt there ever was a font. At most an alphabet in some sign-painter manual.

Howerver, Prumo seems to share some of its qualities.
