Trying to Identify the Font Used on the Cover of this Harry Crews Book

I'm trying to identify the font used on the cover of this memoir written by author Harry Crews. This cover is from the first edition, released in hardback. I'm just looking to identify the font used for the words "A Childhood"

In the attached image, I've circled in red the font in question. Thanks in advance for any help you can lend.
