Looking for this font on the 1970s Mattel toy box for PULSAR action figure.

I know I've seen it used on other graphics, though rarely. I hope someone can help me identify it, and a place to download/purchase.

I assume you are talking about the PULSAR logo?

You've surely seen the style before, but I can find no evidence that your sample is a typeface—it is most likely custom lettering/a custom logotype.
