Metal type found in my studio

Recommended Posts

I was going through a case or two in my studio yesterday and discovered a nice cash of TYPE that I hadn’t seen before. It is small - maybe 14 or 16pt - and I didn’t have time to check if there were any marks. It is nicked though and in very good condition. It is type high and I am based in the UK. Apart from looking like WILLY WONKA I wondered if you could help me identify it.

Thanks so much

Since the direct link doesn’t show the info from the family page, I add it here:

The Fredrick Ullmer Co. in London acted as agent for many typefoundries, and this was one of their offerings. Some of the letters were rather outlandish, so we fearlessly decided to improve them. The result is this dated but pleasant font. The original didn't have a lowercase, so we added it.
