Looking for the font of 60s show The Big Valley title card

Recommended Posts

I've been all over the net trying to determine the font for the title of the 60s show The Big Valley.  Hoping to use it to do a mock-up for a birthday invitation.

Can anyone help?

This title card was created at a time (1965) when studios, both film and TV, still employed lettering artists for such projects. Clarendon-style letter forms, for the most part.

Similar for BIG VALLEY: Cheltenaham Bold Extra Condensed, Hackensack.

The ultra weight of Cheltenham could work for THE, or you could horizontally stretch and vertically compress Hackensack to match the proportions of your sample.
