If anyone knows the typeface (or a similar one) from the type at the bottom of this postcard. Particularly drawn to the idiosyncratic spacing on 'PARADISE'. Thanks!

Thanks, it does look really similar. The 'ISE' feels more condensed?

Safe to assume that your sample dates from the 1950s at the latest?

 

Then we are dealing with a pre-digital or even pre-phototypesetting (i.e., metal type) version of Bookman. Modern digital versions may not be an exact match.

 

Given the letter spacing of your sample, it may also be a typewriter version of Bookman.
