I'm looking for a typeface similar to one found on a castle in Bergen, Norway

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm currently working on a book project about Gamlehaugen, an Arts&Crafts/Art Nouveau-castle, situated just outside Bergen, Norway. Today Gamlehaugen is the King’s official residence in Bergen, but it was originally built for shipowner and statesman Christian Michelsen around 1900. Gamlehaugen was designed in 1899 by the architect Jens Zetlitz Monrad Kielland, who was educated in Germany and influenced by late medieval architecture. I'm searching for a typeface similar to the one used on the castle itself. I know the pictures aren't amazing, but this is what I've got.

Thanks Kevin. This was always a long shot. I might decide to have it custom made. It would be nice to have a unique typeface for titles.
