Hey, all.

I'm looking for the typeface used for the original Mortal Kombat arcade game, or more specifically what was used for the packaging of the first home console ports in 1993. I know for a fact it is not Mortal Kombat Title (also known as MKTitle), because the current version of that font was based on the logo for the second game, not the first. As such, the letters are too thick by comparison. Here's a preview of the one I'm looking for; if anyone knows where to find it, please point me in the right direction. Thanks for your time.

Here's an article that talks more about the dragon emblem than the logotype, but does include John Tobias's sketch of an earlier version of the game's name (before it became Mortal Kombat).

Well, that sucks - thanks for the info, though. I guess I'll just have to alter the letters from Mortal Kombat Title to look thinner, in the Photoshop project I'm working on. I don't know how to make fonts from scratch, and even if I did, there's only 8 letters in that logo - I'd have to create the rest myself for a full alphabet. 😞
