Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Musical Logo Font

Featured Replies

I'm trying to identify the two fonts used in this logo, I'm helping with a school production, so I'd love if I could find free fonts to use in our posters/playbills, etc.  I've tried all my usual sites for matching fonts and can come close with the main font, but am coming up short trying to match the "Roald Dahl" font.  Any help would be awesome! Thank you!

A "free" alternative to Trade Gothic Compressed Bold could be Antonio Bold. The nice thing about Antonio is that it comes in three weights, for flexible use. Another alternative to consider would be Bebas Neue Pro (commercial) or League Gothic (open source). As for Dynamo, there's a font called Nougat on DaFont that seems to be "free", at least for personal use, but it seems to be more or less a knock-off of Dynamo, so there might be some legal issues. I think I'd rather go with Chunk Five which has a similar personality, and no legal insecurities attached to it. You can buy Museo Slab 500 for $0 at Fontspring.
