I have been sent this image to imitate for an invitation and I'm having trouble finding the font. The 'w's are rather unique. tried all the usual image searches like what the font but haven't found anything similar yet. I understand it has been altered and embellished on top of the typesetting but I'm after the base font to create something similar. Can anyone help?

Yes agreed, on further research it was created by a calligrapher (https://bernardmaisner.com) the 'c's in particular looked so alike I thought they may have created a font and then added to it - it's not unheard of. I was hoping perhaps someone could help point to a font that was similar at least.

Given the quirkiness of the design, it’s probably difficult to find something especially similar. Perhaps Diana (by Paratype) could be considered to have a similar flair.
