Given the age of the building (late 1920s–early 1930s), the architectural signage was most likely based 0n hand lettered designs, not typefaces used for printing.

You are in luck, however. Someone has created a digital typeface based on the signage: Olaf Condensed, by Will Scott. Doesn't seem to be commercially available, but worth reaching out to him to see if it can be licensed.
