I'd like to ask if anyone recognises the font used for the author cover text of 'The Myths of Happiness" by Sonja Lyubomirsky, hardcover, ISBN: 978-1594204371, published by Penguin Pr, as seen here: https://www.amazon.com/Myths-Happiness-Should-Doesnt-Shouldnt/dp/1594204373

It's a very well balanced and simple font, looks great on the cover!

I've attached a scan below.

Also, if you know of other similar fonts, I'd love to hear about those too and test them out.

This is a typical example of “geometric sans serif” of the “vernacular” variety, and probably just the one that popularised the style in recent years: Gotham.

There are innumerable typefaces in this category, for every price range.

 

Thanks Riccardo. Is it just my imagination, or does Gotham look identical to the example I posted?
