Modern reconstruction of 1822's typography from the Typography of Academia de Ciências de Lisboa

The book whose typography I wish to identify is called Grammatica philosophica da lingua portuguesa and was written by Jerônimo Soares Barbosa in 1817 and published in 1822 by the Academy of Sciences of Lisbon. Here is a link to consult it in its entirety. https://archive.org/details/grammaticaphilos00soar/page/91/mode/1up

I would like to know whether the typography used in this book was digitally reconstructed or, if it has not been digitally reconstructed, whether there is any contemporary font that most closely approximates the typography used in the book. I have observed that the tilde of this book's typography is more square than today's tilde, which appears like a reclining S. I have noted that each of the four lines of the W in this font is separate, whereas in contemporary fonts with an antique appearance, the lines of the W are joined in the centre or there are only three lines instead of four.

This book is part of my academic research, and I need to know these things because the examination board requires technical descriptions of the first edition of the book in the historical section of the work.

Unfortunately I don’t have the time to try to identify the typefaces used in the book. However, in this digitisation of an earlier Iberian typeface, you can find both a sloped |˜| and a |W| that resembles two |V|s joined at the top.

Thank you for the link. It is a nice fonte. However, the W with three lines, two of which are joined in the middle is precisely what I often find in contemporary fonts, anc does not match the W in this book.

Modern fonts whose W resembles the W in the book are Crimson Text (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Crimson+Text?preview.text=não%20W) and Verbigris MVB Pro Text
