Actually, it's three books, using the same font. The author is hospitalized and not currently available, and I'm trying to do some publicity for his next book, so I would like to duplicate the font. I plugged a scan into a font finder, and none of the results were even close. The books are available on Amazon if anyone wants to see how consistent the cover text is (or isn't):

This source and a couple of others say it's free, but another source says it's free for personal use. And yet another specifically says it's in the public domain.

Certainly don’t trust what free font websites tell you.

Since it’s not listed among the designer’s most notable typefaces, nor in vetted free fonts websites, I would try to contact Paul Lloyd directly about the licence.
