Hello. This may be a toughie, but does anyone recognise this font. It is from a picture taken in 1987 and was displayed on a lorry - the text reads' BOOTS'. Really desperate for this as its for a memorial and must be matched. Thanks in advance.

Was it like a brand name or something?

The way the S goes under the T suggests it could be lettering and might not be a font at all.

I really don't know. Ive spent hours researching whether it is and found nothing. Im starting to think you are right.
