I was given this png from a client - they would like this font (if it is one, I suspect it is not) to make a new logo for a restaurant he is taking over in a neighboring town. If it is not a font, could someone suggest something close/similar? Of course tourist season kicked off this weekend and he's behind getting it open. Thanks in advance if anybody can help me out.

Not finding anything particularly close. Perhaps one of the Bluemlein Script typefaces would work for you? Hipster Script, Hollie Script, House Industries Studio Lettering Sable, Bayamo, and Frost, are also similar.

Dang, I suspected as much. Thank you for the suggestions, I'll see if I can work up something for him with any of those.
