I'm sure you are right. Anything close would be good though. Particularly the 'P'

There was a brief period of time in which such typeface existed. 

Nowadays, perhaps Bourton Base, using the alternate |P| would fit the bill.

Also, the Fort Foundry has several typefaces with such alternate |P| shape.
