Looking for script font usually used in diplomas

forum.thumb.png.8471e96b1222f651471ddce5007419bc.pngHi, I'm looking for this script font usually used in diplomas. I'm not sure of the origins/decade it may have been created. It was used in a diploma for NYU. I'd like a free alternative if possible.

Thanks so much!

You could try, Palace Script, Snell Roundhand or Shelley Script all available from Linotype or Adobe. They are all very, very similar but each has it's own little nuances. Also they have slight variants for different character combos, eg. Shelley has Adante, Allegro and Volante. For that extra flair. Enjoy

If your looking for free fonts: Aerolite Script from dafont is close.

Or Pinyon Script and Meie Script both from GoogleFonts.

Close enough probably.
