"Tribal" looking handwritten font with ragged baseline

Hey there!

I'm trying to find the font used on the stopknobs on this pipe organ built in 1981. The knobs could have been replaced during a later re-build, but I suspect that they're original – which would mean that this font was probably around before 1981.

It's just funky enough that it's entirely possible they're handwritten. However, some of the characters very consistent, which makes me think that it's probably a font with some alternate characters here and there.

None of the characters sit exactly on the baseline, and the handwritten appearance has a funky jungle/tribal vibe to it.

Thanks!
