Hi there, I'm looking to find out what this font is. It has been used for my band by a previous graphic designer, I now need to continuing using it myself.

I believe it is from Typekit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's any help, I believe it to be part of this layered font family:

 

In that case, we would call that an illustration, not really a font. You would have to buy a license for the illustration: http://www.thinkstockphotos.de/image/stock-illustration-carnival-circus-funfair-letters/474027639

Thanks for the reply. It is available as a purchasable layered font, as I've found it previously. I'm just struggling to find it again this time around...

Then it’s probably not that font from the second picture. 

But a squished Sutro seems to match:
