Font from this name tag

Featured Replies

Hey guys, any idea what font this is? Looks close to VAG rounded but I don't think it is.

I don't think it is the same font in the three samples, 1 and 2 look more condensed and have a different M than the 3.

The fact is that these aren't fonts in the traditional sense: they are alphabets drawn for the specific purpose of creating name tags with whatever machine is used to create them.

That said, there are plenty of fonts that mimic this style, in any price range.

A few random examples, purely in alphabetical order: DIN Round(ed), Gravur Condensed, LS, Miso, Print Clearly, Roger Sans, Sign.

You might be right Ignacio, but they do look like they're in the same family, comparing the S, A and Ds.

Thanks Riccardo for the links! Gravur and Miso looks the closest so far!

No. They do look like they’re in the same genre (like Helvetica and Arial, for example). Details like if the vertex of |M| touches the baseline or not are among the ones that distinguish a typeface [family] from another.
