Hello, I'm trying to identify this font for a Northwestern University football helmet from 1980. I'd love any suggestions you had! Thank you! 

None of these are exact, but they may get you started:

Santa Fe (Letraset), Kaufmann (Adobe) or Swing Bold (Monotype).

The original logo, given the vintage of the helmet, was hand lettered, not a typeface.
