answered Looking for font of this logo of Vidal & Sohn Tempo-Werk from 1928

Recommended Posts

I am looking for the font used by the german company Vidal & Sohn Tempo-Werk (1928) to build their logo. If there's no matching font I would be very interested in a similar font.

The image is taken from here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vidal_%26_Sohn_Tempo-Werk

No font involved, all lettering.

That said, it’s a style of lettering that has inspired numerous typefaces.

Usually the have a more cursive shape for the |T|: see, for example Éclat.

One option with a roman-shaped |T| would be TT Polls Script, unfortunately still a bit light even in the heaviest weight.
