Hey all. I did this around 2014. I can't remember which font I used at the time. I may have altered the capital L and I'm not sure where the swash tail came from.

Any help?

It looks based on a stretched James T. Edmondson’s Lavanderia.

Thanks! The one I used has the letters separated, but this Lavanderia is very close. Perhaps the mystery can still be solved.

Looking especially at the a_r joint in your sample, it is pretty evident that the letters were meant to connect.

If you want to separate them, just increase the tracking.

Ah yes. That's probably what I did. 

I winced when i saw the just missing connections. 

Yeah, I'm an amateur. If you saw my other designs you might lose your lunch. 😄

My son's tennis club has the same problem in it's logo. I am tempted to offer to redo it to reduce my weekly irritation.

Now I have learned that this is a hideous design error. Any other unforgivable sins in it?

I think I would have used a font like metro script  or if it had to be free then Wisdom Script.
