Typeface used on UK TV show titled 'Birdsong"

Hi this typeface was used in a UK TV adaption called "Birdsong." I have had trouble identifying it. If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful as I'm thinking of using it on a project. The E, R, Q and G are very distinct. I've included a couple of examples of it from the show. Sorry that the attachment quality is not better.IMG_2650.JPGBirdsong_titles.png

I think you may have nailed it Riccardo. Thank you very much. I do like the "fatter" broadcast version as it softens the crisp lines and serifs. I'll have to get a bit creative! Thanks again.
