Hi I need to create a personal version of Alcoholics Anonymous' Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions list, but I need to identify the font attached to this post.  Thanks in advance.

This is lettering, not a typeface.

There are a number of blackletter fonts with ornate capitals out there, of varying styles and quality (and budget), but I can’t imagine how one could be determined as “commonly used”.

Nice type. 

Anansi, Riccardo has already told you that your sample isn't a typeface. It was drawn by hand.

It doesn’t get more constructive than that.

 

If you want a similar typeface, try Agincourt.
