Why does Photoshop and Illustrator does not display all 7 different weights of same family under one family name? even MS Windows also does not show the 7th font weight file after installing in the font folder.

Does any one have any answer or solution to this problem?

What's the font and how exactly are the fonts named in the font menu of Photoshop/Illustrator?

font name is Chorus(designed by me)
www.myfonts.com/fonts/soneri/chorus/
It has 7 different weights: Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold, ExtraBold
when I install all I see 'Extra Light' missing in the menu in wndows font folder, photoshop and illustrator.
