I used to use myfonts.com for IDing fonts. They had an excellent automatic font finder and a fantastic public forum. Now the public forum is gone with no explanation being able to be given from their customer service and the automatic font finder is terrible. I know they are now owned by Monotype. Does anyone have any further information on this? Its very frustrating why they would disolve that community and replace the ai with inferior software.

I just saw the post here on TG, Monotype acquired Sharp Type. Does anyone know more about Monotype's acquisition of myfonts.com?
